Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Houston the Cat needs a home
Houston (the momcat) & her 4 kittens were discovered after they were abandoned at the Miami Whitewater Forest Park. Lucky for them, they were rescued by a good samaritan who couldn't stand to see them scared and starving . . .
Momcat is just a youngster herself; she was extremely underweight (probably from not getting enough food but still needing to feed her kittens), with an extremely thin coat of hair and was very skittish & timid and scared to trust anyone. She's getting a bit more comfortable as she puts on some weight and recovers her health; likes to be petted but not so sure about being picked up. The best environment for her would be in a tranquil household, with people willing to continue teaching her about the good life; bribing/rewarding her with chicken treats and offering her lots of love.
She'd love a wonderful new home, with lots of good food and someone to love & play with her & never abandon her again . . .
She's been spayed, vaccinated, combo-tested - negative - for feline leukemia (FeLV) & FIV, de-wormed & de-flead, and micro-chipped. The adoption fee is $50.00. If interested in adopting, please fill out our application at http://www.purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform. ?
