Ophelia ** MISSING** the Cat needs a home
She went missing in March 2017. We were not contacted until June of 2017 about this and we are searching for her! She has a black tip on her one ear from frost bite before she was taken into foster care. She was already spayed and did have all of her vaccines completed.
We did have someone call in a sighting of her. She was last seen around August 2017 near where she went missing. Blacksmith road, New Tripoli, PA!
She has to be around this area still, if anyone sees her or you think you have seen her please reach out to the cat shack through email!

8/6/16- We have really come a long way with Ophelia! She is no longer caged and roams our foster room with other cats. She is great with our dog (who is only 1.5), She loves to run around from time to time with the other kittens! She likes to be pet, but shes not a fan of being held. She is ready for a family who is going to give her the time she needs to adjust to the new home, proper introductions should be done when introducing any older cat with a dog or other cats in the home!
She loves her food, like her belly rubbed and will be an awesome family member!
She is fully litter box trained, up to date on distemper and rabies, She is also spayed! She is easy-going and very relaxed. Again, I can't tell you enough how much progress she has made from being outside all these years to now. She's awesome and she's orange (Super uncommon) ! If you are interested in more please email the cat shack or fill out an application right online!
7/13/16- It has been a month since we have updated on Ophelia's progress. She is getting friendly. She is eating, drinking, using the litter box with us around. She enjoys playing with us through the cage and likes to chase around a toy. She likes foster resident cats and is beginning to make progress with dogs. She is active mainly at night. She likes to sit and watch her surroundings. We have not been able to hold her as of yet but she does allow us to pet her from time to time.
She would be great for someone who is going to give her a lot of patience and time to get used to her surroundings. She could also make an excellent barn cat!
6/12/16- Ophelia has been spayed, up to date on current vaccinations (RABIES AND DISTEMPER) and dewormed. We are in the process of seeing if she can become an indoor cat. Socialization and handling is going to be needed and may take a month or two. If you are interested in having her become a barn cat, we can also do that. She would make an excellent companion with another cat, but does not seem to get along well with dogs.
We are hoping that we are able to make her an indoor only kitty as she is eating, drinking and using the box in front of us. She also likes to sit and watch current resident cats play. She is beginning to allow us to put our hands into the cage and she does sniff it. but that's it.
We will continue working with her for a while longer. If we see that she is going to be much happier outdoors than we will re-release her back to where she was trapped in Quakertown.
INTAKE 5/23/16: Ophelia is an orange, female with medium coat length. She is in the progress of being asessed to see if she would be TNR or if she is able to be socialized.
She has a URI, given medication for that, flea treatment (frontline), dewormed, ears cleaned and medicated for ear mites
