King the Dog needs a home
King is a gentle giant when he gets to know you! He loves attention and a walk with his family. He doesn't seem to be interested in toys, but does love his treats! He walks perfectly on leash, but can get excited when he sees others dogs. He always wants to please so he is very obedient. He knows all his basic commands and will wait patiently until the family comes from work or play. He does get a little uncomfortable when strangers come to close, but he's working on that since being out of the shelter. This poor guy made 2 trips through the shelter. the first time his family came back for him, but 2nd time, they just left him there. He was a shelter favorite, but due to his size and color, he was overlooked for months.
KInc is attending his basic obedience class and is a very good student!
King is good with other dogs with proper introductions and can be good with cats, if the cat is used to dogs.
Kingwould do best in a home with older, considerate children.
King is up to date on all of his vaccinations, crate trained, leash trained and house trained.
He is a big, goofy love bug. King deserves to know that his family won't dump him at the shelter - maybe your family is that family!
