Adeline the Dog needs a home
Adeline is a female Beagle, who is estimated to be 8 years old (est. DOB 2008). She is adorable and chubby, with a heart of gold. She needs a good friend to take her on walks to help her lose 10 pounds. She is a great dog who will fill your life with joy. UPDATE from her foster family:
She is an absolute delight and is the perfect houseguest! She is completely house trained, good with other dogs and cats, loves to eat (not vegetables, though!) but has not shown signs of food aggression. She is very loving and loves to be up on the couch or in the bed with us, but is also content to be in a dog bed on the floor. She really loves playing with her stuffed animals, and thoroughly enjoys being outside.
As far as her bad knee, we haven't really seen it slow her down. She loves to run around the backyard, go on walks, and play with the other dogs. There are some mornings where she seems a bit stiff or has a bit of a limp. I have given her a very small dose (1/4 pill for a dog her size) of tramadol on a few mornings where she was limping, but haven't had to do that in recent weeks. I think that the more exercise she's getting is helping to strengthen her muscles, or that's what I'm hoping! I can see how a lot of stairs would be tough on her, but she has no issues with the 4-5 we have going into the yard.
She really is just the cutest thing and will make a perfect companion to
a lucky person!
