Mango 0454 the Dog needs a home
Meet Mango, the $8,000 dog. Mango is a sweet 9 month old puppy who was hit by a car in San Antonio, TX. A stranger saw the incident and called different vet hospitals looking for someone to help him. All declined except one, Mission Vet, who told the man to bring Mango in. Then they contacted SSR and asked us to please fund his medical care, because they did not want to put Mango to sleep.
Mango suffered a terrible fracture to his elbow and will need 2 pins put in so that he can heal properly. He also has a fractured shoulder which will likely require surgery as well. As of now, Mango is resting comfortably on Oxygen as they try to get him stable enough for surgery.
