We have the best kept secret, a cat friendly Husky! And her name is Nova :)
Nova is approximately 1-2 years of age and she's fairly new to the rescue. But here's what we can tell you so far:

?Loves other dogs
?doesn't mind cats
?does not like to be alone
?prefers to NOT be crated
?wants to be anywhere her humans are and loves to touch

Nova is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. She will be available for adoption through at the end of March, but we're currently accepting applications now. We are able to transport Nova to MD or NJ for adoption. She is in foster care in GA.
~~The Last Resort is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in.
