Lena the Dog needs a home
Lena is ready for her new home! She’s a senior girl was found at a truck stop in Oklahoma! The poor sweetheart as scavenging for food along the highway, and having a very difficult time walking across the frontage roads.
She’s about 50 pounds, heartworm negative, great with dogs and cats, house broken, and now up to date on all vaccines! For an old girl she still has a good spring in her step and really enjoys short walks! If you’d like to share your home with this sweetest and most grateful girl, she’ll happily live out her last year’s expressing her gentle gratitude! Lena’s very easy to care for, but will need to take inexpensive meds for her stiff joints.

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Lena is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
