Adopt a Boxer / Rhodesian Ridgeback / Mixed

Hello there! My name is Baskets and today I woke up and said to myself "Baskets my man, enough of this bachelor life and living on your own. It's time for you to find that special someone to settle down with." Before I came to stay with my friends here at Buffalo Cares I was homeless and picked up as a stray in North Carolina and went to a shelter there. A shelter is not a place where dogs like me can stay forever even though it was better than being on the streets by myself. They asked the kind folks at Buffalo Cares to please help me. And that's what they did!

Being the happy fellow that I am - I've worked hard to put all of the past behind me and I really am ready to start my new life with that special person who will love and care for me forever. My friends tell me that I am about 5 or 6 years old; not a puppy and not a senior either -- I am "just perfect" according to my foster mom (awww shucks :) I am basically a straightforward, tail wagging, fun-loving, live-in-the-moment kind of guy. My previous life was hard tho and sometimes new people or strange things might worry me. But if someone I trust helps me through it - I do just fine.

My friends at Buffalo Cares have helped me to learn some important things like how to walk nicely on a leash, sit, down, place, and stay (stay is still hard because I just wanna be with my people). I'm a big, handsome, goofy bundle of happiness and enthusiasm so I need to join a family with adults or older children. And because I have waited so long, I really need to be the only pet in the home so I can have all the lovin' you have to give. My needs really are simple and I just want to find a mature and experienced owner who's ready to meet my every need and spoil me beyond my wildest dreams. Sound like you? Baskets adoption fee is $225 plus a $50.00 training deposit
