Max Ryan the Dog needs a home
18 month old Max Ryan spent his life alone in a small enclosure in the back yard of his family’s home. A kind animal lover rescued him and asked for our help. GSROC stepped in to help this handsome boy find a loving home.
Max Ryan is a gorgeous sable guy who likes people and greets everyone with a big doggy smile. His exuberance sometimes gets the best of him when meeting new people and he will try to jump up to give you a doggy kiss. Max Ryan is learning new doggy skills from our volunteers so he can impress everyone with his manners. We are hoping to enroll him in obedience training as well. His former family didn’t bother to teach him this and consequently, he is so excited to get attention, he forgets just how big he is! For this reason, we do not recommend a home with smaller children for this boy. He could easily knock them down with his enthusiasm.
Max Ryan walks fairly well on a leash and loves to get exercise. This boy is a puppy in a big doggy body. Go for a run, chase a ball, explore the park? Max Ryan will happily be by your side.
