Adopt a Chocolate Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)

A beautiful 3 yr old super intelligent chocolate Labrador mix girl with plenty of love to share and? her spirit is as quick as her smile. For a treat she will sit,? shake either paw and give you a 'high ten.' A good scratch on the butt will induce euphoric wiggling and twerking. If you ask her her name, in a deep voice she'll say Lola.


Once she has a bone or her bowl of food she won’t share and would rather not be bothered. She can be very head shy as her previous owners must not have been too kind to her but with time she will learn to trust you as she trusts her foster, but until that time we advise ?not to make quick movements around her face. When she came to us we found that most her head ?shyness was because of a really bad ear infection. She is with us because her former owners didn't ?realize this and thought she didn’t like them as she would snap at them?. Her infection has since ?cleared up and now ?she is just ?a wonderful dog.

When coming across other dogs on a walk, ?she does not show aggression towards them but we do believe Lola would prefer to be an only child. Cats and other small animals are out of the question for her as her hunting instinct is very strong, even flies are not safe when she's around and she catches them like a pro.  

Lola is a very happy girl who never has destroyed anything in her room and she's extremely house trained, truly one of the best behaved dogs we ever had to pleasure of fostering. She's always happy? to see us and always greets us with a smile and a wag?. Our one desire is for her to find a loving home with people who will give her time to adjust to new surroundings and who will ?receive her love and give it? right back with patience and understanding. Lola weighs about 65 lbs.
