I stuck out at the City of San Antonio shelter like that pawverbial sore thumb, but it wasn't my thumb sticking out, it was my ribs. I am now in a Foster Home recovering from a bad case of the skinnies, easily cured with food, I weigh 35 pounds now, but should fatten up into the 40's. I am already full grown height and length wise because I am somewhere between 2 and 3 years old. Once I am healthy I'll stick out due to my unique liver and white roan coat. My mottled coat is how I got labeled a Pointer mix. My ears are not always flappy like a hound though, they are perky sometimes too. My coat isn't in the best shape either I'm slowly recovering from dermatitis on top of poor nutrition from being WAY too skinny. I am a quieter dog but can easily be coaxed into a total love bug. I am a lil cautious of the world too, but do explore it with my foster brother Bingo and I'm working towards liking the resident dog here named Amber. I am still learning to crate but with a few kibbles I go in. Over all I am well mannered and want to please my Foster Mom. I am just learning leash and basic commands and should pick up quick because I'm a good listener. Can you be my new home? If so, please email [email protected] and tell them you are ready for ME!!!
GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!
Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****
ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies. We transport all over the country!!
