Georgie the Dog needs a home
Georgie is a very special boy that will need a patient person to fully reap all the benefits of his affection. He's had a bit of a rough start in life and right now feels like new people and environments are scary. He will do best in a low traffic area, preferably with no children (or super respectful kids) as he needs time to acclimate to new people. Though he has a very sweet temperament, he is very shy and bashful at first and will probably never be a candidate for the dog park or running off leash with you. Georgie will require multiple visits with him without touching him or acknowledging him until he feels comfortable being around his new owners. He is very slow to warm up to people at first and will bark at the sight of strangers. We ask that if you are considering Georgie that you understand that this will be a quite a bit of a longer trust-building relationship than normal. However, once he gets to know you, according to his own timeline, he will shower you with dancing and joy the moment you wake up and when you come home from work.
