Nuri the Dog needs a home
Nuri and her pups were abandoned on some vacant land behind the Sanctuary behind a pile of brush. The staff didn't realize they were even there until they heard the puppies crying. They found an extremely frightened and guarding Nuri with 5 pups - 3 of whom were already dead.
Nuri is still very mistrustful and frightened. We are working to gain her trust and help her know she is safe, but it may take some time.
She is a very unusual looking doggie with large up ears, a long muzzle and piercing brown eyes. Take a look at the photos, she is easily one of the most unique, beautiful dogs you'll ever see.
