Adopt a Californian (short coat)
Lapin the Rabbit needs a home
.
Lapin is a two year old mostly white Californian rabbit. He is a big bunny that likes to be petted. He can get playful and lovingly nippy, so he needs a home with NO young children.
FOOD: Rabbit Pellets, Timothy Hay, and fresh green leafy vegetables such as kale, romaine or butter lettuce, arugula, parsley, etc. Fresh fruits and berries make a great occasional treat.
Rabbits are a ten year or more commitment. We require an indoor home for rabbits. NO wire bottom cages as they can cause foot sores which require veterinarian care. Solid plastic bottom cages only. We use and recommend the recycled paper bedding, as the wood chips can cause respiratory issues.
Our rabbit adoption fee is $50.00. We accept cash, or a check made out to Acadiana Humane Society. If it doesn’t work out, we ask that you please return rabbit to Acadiana Humane Society. Thank you!
