Hello, my name is Fiji. Doesn’t that make you think of a lovely island paradise? Paradise for me is sitting on your lap and being petted. I will purr and lick your hand to show my appreciation. I am shy with new people, and loud noises and sudden movements make me startle, but once I get to know you, I will open up and share my heart.
After years of appreciating sleeping in beds, I recently discovered the joy of sleeping under the covers. If you sneak out quietly enough, I will stay in bed and keep your (now my) spot warm. I like to roll on my back in the hope that you will rub my belly (some say it’s good luck). I have been told that I am a very good girl as I use my cat tree to stretch and scratch, and never the furniture. Did I mention I’m a great conversationalist? I am also a great listener. If you have a calm household with no other pets, I would love to be your one and only. I am spayed and up to date on my shots; and was born in 2009.
