Adopt a Manchester Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Meet Jolie, a gorgeous girl who has not had the wonderful life she deserves.  This young Manchester Terrier mix was picked up as a stray, and after about a month in the shelter, they noticed that Jolie was an expecting mother.  They reached out to our rescue to get Jolie out and into a clean, safe place to have her pups. Jolie's troubles were not quite over. Jolie gave birth to 8 puppies but sadly, probably because of something (chemical/pesticide,etc.) she got into before she entered the shelter, 5 of her babies were born with severe birth defects and did not survive.  Jolie has been a good mom to her three remaining little ones!  But now she is almost ready to leave motherhood behind forever and start her own happy-ever-after.  Jolie has thrived in her foster home and shown herself to be extremely smart and easily trainable.  She is very loving and if there is a lap available, she wants to be in it.  She is a snuggler, wanting to have every part of her body against every part of yours!  She loves to play and run around the yard, she is very fast and energetic.  But when in the house she is calm and just likes to follow her people around to see what they are doing.  She is just the perfect dog in every way!  At 32 pounds she is even the perfect size, not too big, not too small.  Jolie is completely housebroken, gets along with other dogs and although she has not been around children we feel confident that she would love them!   There is a cat in her foster home and although she has not been aggressive she has paid a little too much attention and made the cat very nervous so she may do best in a home with no cats.  Jolie is a perfect girl who has stolen her foster mom's heart.  She just needs the perfect family to make her their own.
