Maynard the Dog needs a home

Holy moly I love this boy! Maynard came in with a wound on his back. It has come a long way but is not quite healed. We are working on it! We went to the vet this week and this boy was a rock star! He was saying hi to every one coming in. He was well mannered ...well except for the part where he kept trying to sit in my lap! This boy isnt quite ready for adoption but a foster to adopt would certainly be welcome!


East TN Pit Bull Rescue adopts out to companion homes only. Adoptions require an application that is verified, a meeting that includes ALL members of the household, a home visit, and a trial period. We do not place our dogs in homes with unaltered pets or homes that have pets but do not have a vet. All of our dogs are placed as inside pets, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, vaccinations current, and HW- or treated within the last 6 months for heart worms by our vet. Adoption fees start at $150 for adults and $200 for pups.
