Pounce the Dog needs a home
Pounce is a bouncing male 5 month old Miniature Pinscher! His antics will make you laugh out loud. The human who surrendered him claimed he was a purebred, but we don’t have proof - we just know he’s 100% cute.
He loves everyone and everything. Being a puppy, he has lots of energy - so will try to jump in your arms, then squirm to get down, then try to jump in your arms again. He adores the dogs in his foster home, and wants to play with all of them. He’s curious about cats but shows no aggression. Pounce is doing well with housetraining, but he is still a puppy AND a breed notoriously stubborn - so any home will need to be prepared to reinforce good habits. He isn’t a huge fan of his crate so while he will settle down in it, he’d prefer a human that would let him burrow under the covers in bed.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
