Middy the Dog needs a home
MIDDY (short for Midnight) is a 16 yr old Poodle/Terrier mix who was well-loved and given up due to his elderly owner's health. He is old and frail himself (under 15 lbs). Middy is currently in a foster home where he is receiving TLC but we would love for him to find a retirement home if his own. Middy is deaf and mostly blind but we feel he still has some quality of life. He enjoys his outside time in the yard or on leash. Currently living with cats and dogs - he is a little "flinchey" with his lack of hearing and sight and startles easily so not a match for a household with children.
Middy's foster mom describes him as such: "Deaf, blind, senile, likes to walk. Pretty well crate trained. Easily adjusts to new surroundings because he's clueless."
midnight has been previously neutered and well cared for over his lifetime And comes with all of his records. Adoption fee waived to the right family. Looking for someone who is experienced in hospice type care for senior dogs. Apply at www.companimals.org.
