Paulie the Dog needs a home

Foster Care. Hi! My name is Paulie, and I'm a 2 year old neutered male Chihuahua mix who loves to play fetch! I came into the shelter in March with most of my fur gone due to mange, but thanks to the great medical care I got at PHS, my fur has all grown back and I’m healthy again. I am a bit shy, especially of men, but in my foster home am learning to trust. I walk well on leash, get along with other dogs, and am good with cats. I learn quickly and love treats. I also love to be near my favorite person giving lots of kisses! I'd probably do best in a home with older children, since I can be shy at first with new people. Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close. 



We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!

Emails will be returned as soon as possible, but please allow up to 48 hours during busy adoption periods like weekends.
