Hoedown HENRY the Dog needs a home
Poor Henry! Abandoned on the streets he grew fearful of people. His name was Fred in the shelter. The shelter hoped for help with Henry but he had no takers. His foster likes the shy dogs because watching them blossom into the dog they are meant to be is so rewarding! It was hard for him to accept attention his first night home and foster had to be slow and cautious. He slept well his first night once music was put on for him (a regular thing for his foster now).
After a good night's sleep, Henry was happy to see his foster mom and jumped up happily for a little attention! He has slept a lot since his freedom and warmed up a lot! He has a way to go still and needs a grooming as soon as he is ready. This dog will require more time to adjust but a savvy dog person would be considered for adoption as of now.
Henry is 1 year old an 19lbs. I call him Hoedown because when he is excited he spins in fast circles. Very cute!! Loves his greenies and other treats. Has a loud bark when he does bark and more to follow. More photos once he is bathed and clean.

Dog adoptions are held outside Napa Petco every Saturday - 12:30pm to 4:00pm.
