STONEY the Dog needs a home

Hi, I''m Stoney! I arrived here under very sad and unfortunate circumstances, but my hope is that you can help with my happy ending! You see, I was originally confiscated from a house by Norfolk Animal Control because I was found chained up and starving. When I got here, I was a broken dog?all of my ribs were showing (I was only 28 lbs!) and I would shove myself so far back in the corner of my kennel and tremble in fear. Now that I''ve received the proper medical care and TLC, I have blossomed into the dog you see here today. I''m no longer afraid of strangers and I''m even eager to meet new people! The staff is recommending I go to an adult home or one with kids ages 12+ for a best match. My hope is that one day soon I''ll have a real family of my own that I can be a part of forever!
