Sonya the Cat needs a home
Sonya is a beautiful diva who is happy to meet and greet you. She loves attention and purrs when you pet her. This playful cat also entertains herself by scratching on cardboard. Relaxed with calm dogs, she'd prefer to be your only cat or to live with another independent feline. Born in 2004, Sonya came from a Colorado animal shelter. When she arrived at the shelter as a stray, she was in terrible shape. As a result, she developed an inflammatory skin condition called eosinophilic granuloma. She also has food allergies. Since arriving at the Sanctuary, she's improved with treatment. Usually happy to receive affection, she occasionally gets overstimulated and may give you a warning swat if you overdo it. But that's just the starlet in her. If only she had someone to spoil her like she thinks she should be spoiled! This kitty really wants to find a home and somebody special to love. Sonya hopes you'll give her the chance to be a star in your home!
