Adopt a Amazon
Paco the Bird needs a home
Paco is learning how to sing " Somewhere over the Rainbow?! Paco is a Mealy Amazon who came to the sanctuary with several other birds from California when his owner could no longer care for them. Mealy Amazons are the largest of the Amazon family. True to Amazon form he is quite the talker - even if we don't always understand what he is saying. Paco is no youngster at 60 yearsm but he is not exactly over the hill either. Amazons can live up to 80 years in captivity. Paco is talkative, funny, vibrant and full of life. He does, however, show a few signs of his age. He is blind in his right eye and has a cataract starting to form in his left. You have to be gentle with him and let him know you are there, or he may bite out of fear. Paco is looking for a new loving home. Won't you answer his wishes and give him a forever home?
