Romeo the Cat needs a home
ROMEO has had a rough life! He is around 13-15 years old and was dumped by his owner because a grandchild was allergic. When he got to the shelter, poor ROMEO was not feeling well. It turns out that the owner neglected his care. ROMEO turned out FIV positive, had to have all of his teeth removed due to decay, and was weak and thin. We had to give him fluids and force feed him for a week, and he hid in his box all day. Now ROMEO is living in an office as a foster waiting for a home. He is very friendly and low-key. He meows and greets people, he loves to eat and hang out. ROMEO will bump up against you for attention and likes to be brushed. He is OK in the office for now, but craves attention and would be much happier in a home. Please come visit the animals at EASEL Animal Rescue League, behind the Ewing Municipal Building at 4 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing. Adoption hours are every day from 12-3.
