Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed

I'm Merida, a beautiful four year old pit mix. Looking for my forever family.  My ideal home would be in a single dog family. I haven't met any cats since I've been in Portland but I get pretty fixated on squirrels so cats might not be OK.  I really love people. I'm pretty affectionate and love love love attention.  

I am a generally well behaved girl.  A home with teenagers or older would be fine. I would prefer a family who understands my breed and knows that I sometimes need an advocate to let others know I am a sweet and gentle dog that just wants to be loved.

Merida had a few litters of puppies before being rescued however she is now spayed.  She has been with her foster mom for a few months now and has been living in her home with other dogs. There is one dog in the home that just  doesn't like Merida, so Merida is hoping to find her own furever home soon.  

Merida weighs 63 pounds. She could use formal training, she’s very smart and learns quickly. She has a calm demeanor and is crate trained and potty trained and has started playing with a toys. She does best when she gets a walk every day, and two walks are even better.

She’s a very beautiful girl and deserves all the love and attention her own special family will give her

Every Underdog has been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well. 

Adoption fee is $380

We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.
