A Little Bit About Me
Griffin may seem imposing but is really a gentle giant. His foster "mom" reports that he's super mellow, "head butts" for attention, enjoys wand toys, stretching out, sitting near his person for more attention, quiet, excellent with his litter box and overall a GREAT senior cat. He was also fostered by another family with dogs but he did not like them at all. He has been ok with some dogs, but would probably prefer a home without them. What makes him happiest is having several comfortable places to sleep and his person near by.
Griffin lost his home of the last few years because his person could no longer care for him, and he is now looking for a new home where he can continue to live an easy and comfortable life that he has obviously gotten used to. But watch that comfort - some exercise and dieting wouldn't hurt him, and losing one or two of those extra pounds might bring back memories of his earlier life when his name was Lightning. Now Griffin is a better fitting name for this mature cat, and he is fine with that.
