Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Rottweiler / Mixed (short coat)
Mikko the Dog needs a home
About Me: My name is Mikko. I am a Rottweiler Mix, 5 years old and weigh around 80 pounds. Yes, I know I am a big boy but it's because my heart is so heavy with all the love I have for the people around me. I am not sure how I ended up here because my foster mom keeps telling me that I am the best dog she has ever known. I am a pretty laid-back dog. I'm great with kids and adults alike.
Here's more about me from my foster mom:
Mikko loves to play with his rope tug and play catch, he has a very soft mouth when playing catch and will drop the ball as soon as you say drop. He loves to give kisses and snuggle up on the couch with you...If you scratch his tummy he just melts into you. We are working on crate training, but he does not need to be crated when you are away from the home.. He is a very well behaved gentleman and always meets you at the door with his tail wagging and one of his toys in his mouth. Mikko is very well potty trained and has never had an accident in the house...This dog is the most affectionate dog I have ever had the pleasure to be around...He is filled with love and shows it.
I am working on him with his harness and leash so we can go out for nice long walks.
In the past Mikko has had some issues with other dogs and men in baseball caps.
Mikko would do well in a home with kids and a fenced yard. Mikko would prefer to be your only dog.
