Suzy the Dog needs a home
Suzy arrived at her foster as a 5 to 6 month old pup abandoned alone on a country road. Suzy is a dream. She follows her foster down the gravel road without a leash, and walks right beside you when leashed. She's great on trips to the feed store or Home Depot, and always she draws comments on her wonderful manners!
She sits when you touch your lips, stays, comes immediately with "here", and is the best mouser EVER! She is a bit shy at first, and is still a bit nervous when we leave home - I attibute that to having been abandoned. She loves to play with the other border collie, and with 2 of the smaller females, but would also be happy having all the attention as the only dog! (We should point out that Suzy sometimes seems to have issues with females roughly the same size as she! So if there are other dogs in the home, we'll help with introductions. She's gotten along great with male dogs, or smaller females that she's met.) She also runs with the shepherd. Suzy is, quite simply, the best!

The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.
Suzy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
