New Zealand (short coat) Rabbit

Josephine + Peter Rabbit the Rabbit needs a home

Mrs. Josephine Rabbit and Peter Rabbit, here. You might remember me and my son, Peter, from Beatrix Potter's The Tale of Peter Rabbit when Peter disobeyed my orders and snuck into Mr. McGregor's garden and tried to eat all his vegetables. We are a mother and son bonded pair ready to find a home together. We've both been altered, so there won't be any offspring! If you're interested in a beautiful pair of New Zealand Rabbits, we are ready to entertain you! Please email your phone number to [email protected] for more info!

FAQ:

Q. Is he/she good with kids?

A. Young children and rabbits are not a good mix. Rabbits are fragile and can easily be injured resulting in costly vet bills or worse. Rabbits also scratch and bite if agitated.

Q. We need this bunny right away, how long will it take?

A. If you need a bunny right away we will assume it is for a gift.

Live animals do not make good gifts, especially for a child.

We take the re-homing of our rescued rabbits very seriously. Time is needed to make sure the adopter is fully aware of what it takes to properly care for a house rabbit.

Please do your research to be sure that a rabbit is the right house pet for you.

Remember, like cats and dogs, rabbits are an 8 to 12 year commitment.
