Adopt a Jack Russell Terrier (Parson Russell Terrier) / Mixed (short coat)
Jackson the Dog needs a home
All HSWC animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate).
Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions.
Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful!
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Meet Jackson. Jackson is a sweet dog with a few anxiety issues. He is on a daily dose of an inexpensive anti-anxiety medication. He does well with female dogs and more submissive male dogs. He is completely housetrained. While his foster parents are at work, Jackson spends his days hanging out with his canine foster brother and sister. He absolutely loves running around the backyard with his canine foster sister, who is an Austrailian Shepherd. He sleeps quietly in his own bedroom at night. He does not need to be crated. Jackson is still a young guy and requires sufficient exercise. If you would like more information on Jackson, please contact [email protected].
