Adopt a Great Dane (short coat)
Nick the Dog needs a home
Here is what his foster mom says about him:
Nick is a gorgeous neutered 6 year old fawn colored great dane. He adapts well to his household environment. If you have a lazy home, he'll be your couch buddy. If you're active, he'll enjoy all the running he can get. He has a deep bark but he almost never uses it. He stays pretty quiet and mellow but does pine for affection. He loves to curl up in a tiny corner of the couch or to spread out across a Cal King sized bed. He is every bit of a gentle giant. He’s not afraid to ask for attention and will nuzzle his nose into you for attention. He has done great with his foster's dogs and cats and has had sleep overs with them several times. He does well on a leash but does pull slightly, and will need someone to help him learn to walk gently on leash. He does respond well to training with treats. All around sweet boy that is sensitive and looking for a loving home. Should be an indoor dog.
We will add to what she says. He MUST be an indooe dog, its not an option.
He is neuteree, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and is current on flea preventative.
He is partial to women, and loves kids. We will ask that his new home has no small children, as he doesnt realize how big he is.
If you think he could be the new addition to your family, please fill out an adoption application on our website www.pitsrus.org
No meets will be scheduled without an approved application.
