Petey the Dog needs a home
Petey is a neutered 4 year old boy who has spent the majority of his life without a family. Surrendered at 10 months old, he has been in the shelter ever since. Sadly Petey was overlooked again and again and years had passed. During that time Petey saw his bowls, blankets and toys as his world and became obsessed with them. He became more and more withdrawn into his small, limited world and after coming to us, has finally started opening up again. He needs an adopter who understands special needs dogs, and can help him learn to live in a house again and continue on with the training we have put into him. He is completely house broken, loves his crate and can be left alone without chewing anything or having accidents. Does great on the leash and knows some commands too. He loves agility, fetch, swimming, frisbee and hiking. He needs to be the center of attention so we recommend a home with no children or other pets.
