Ariel Madison the Dog needs a home
~~Sacramento- *special needs* Ariel Madison is a super cute English Bulldog puppy. In so many ways, she is your normal cute and happy puppy. She loves to play, is learning bite inhibition, likes food and nibbling toes and chases you around. She is different in the fact that she has Spina Bifida so she cannot use her back legs and she is also unable to control her bladder or bowels. As she gets older, a wheel chair would definitely be ideal for this crooked spined cutie. She was born 11/24/17 and is still just a tiny puppy full of lots of wrinkles and sauciness. She needs continued socialization and boundaries (this is important for all puppies but especially stubborn ones like bulldogs). She doesn’t need someone to feel sorry for her, she doesn’t know any different so she just needs someone who is willing to spend a few extra minutes a day helping to manage her special needs. I am also happy to get anyone considering adopting her in touch with one of the many people I know who have adopted dogs similar to her. I think they would all tell you, it is not as scary as or time consuming as you think it might be.
She came to us with hopes that she would be a candidate for a research study doing corrective study, but since she is unable to use her back legs, she is not (although they may want her to get MRIs as she gets older). She lives with lots of dogs and she is happy to play with humans or dogs of all sizes, although sharp teeth and small children are not a great match.

Adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, microchip, and she will be utd on vaccines.
