Description:
Petunia is a super sweet loving pup! She is 6 years old and was previously a rescue. Adopted by a disabled elderly woman, she provided tons of emotional support and love to her and others. However, circumstances have caused Petunia to be put up for adoption to a new home ASAP. She does have some quirks: Petunia has history of aggression with other dogs and worked with a trainer on general behavior in the past. She has had some more training recently and has been exposed to new dogs in the home, but does not do well as she can be defensive of other humans in the home and will need more training before she could be considered safe with other animals. Also had first exposure to cats recently and does not do well with cats (she will try to lunge at and chase them). She has had conflict with other dogs and will need an experienced owner or someone willing to work with a behaviorist. However, Petunia is fantastic with humans and kids! She loves people more than anything and would be a great family dog if an only pet or in a one person-one dog home. For more information on Petunia and her story, visit
