Adopt a Weimaraner (short coat)
Spike the Dog needs a home
Meet Spike! 8 years young male! He is current on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention. Spike was living in a house by himself for several months before coming to Heartland Rescue. He had been passed from home to home for a few years. He was very underweight and had a skin allergy to fleas because he was covered in them. Spike is a normal velcro boy Weim. He wants to be with his family while they are home. He will lay at your feet while you’re watching TV and get up to follow you around. He has great house manners. Spike is housebroken and doesn't get into anything. He doesn't counter surf and is great at large in the house. Spike gets along great with other dogs, big and small. He loves being outside and doesn't jump the fence or dig. He is really quiet in the house and will even shut a door and stay in the room until you let him out. Spike is so sweet and just the perfect gentleman. He walks on a leash but doesn't like car rides. He acts like he gets worried that he is going to be dumped somewhere again. Poor baby. With time, I am sure he would love a good car ride. Do you have a space on the rug and in your heart for this sweet southern gentleman? Spike is being fostered in Claremore, OK and his adoption donation is $150.
