Cubby the Dog needs a home
He's a beautiful 2 year old, neutered male, 74 lbs Alaskan Malamute mix that was an owner surrender. The previous owner did not have any time for him and as a result Cubby was escaping his yard. He can be shy with new people, but doesn't take long to warm up; he is extremely affectionate, seeks attention and very playful. Cubby is also treat motivated and knows basic commands. According to his previous owner, Cubby is housetrained, enjoys baths and loves car rides. However, the owner also stated that Cubby digs holes under the fence and chews on household items (most likely due to his lack of exercise and attention in the home). We tested him with a large dog and a small dog. He can be pushy and confident with other dogs, but eventually became relaxed with the larger dog and even tried to play with the helper dog...he also lived with a pit bull mix. But since he is pushy with other dogs I would recommend no small dogs or cats with him.
