12/22/2017 - UPDATE -
Merry Christmas to me! After a few weeks of proper food and great medical care, I am ready for a new home. My heart is in great shape, my ears and eyes are clearing up, and it turns out I didn't need a spay surgery. My friend Miles is doing well too. I can't wait to start finding my new family. How about you?
MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION:
Hi, my name is Chloe. I was turned into a shelter, and I am now being helped by CSAC. I need it. The Docs gave me a look over, and I do need medical attention. I have a heart murmur, eye, and ear infections. My blood work came back with some elevated numbers so I need to wait 2 weeks before I can have my spay surgery so I am here for the long haul. I am in better shape than my friend Miles who came in with me. I hope we experience a Christmas miracle and improve in health and find a new wonderful home who can take care of me. I would love to find a home with my buddy Miles, but I know some things are just too much to ask.

Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link.
The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. If you can help, please donate.
