Snickers! A sweet survivor the Cat needs a home
After surviving at least four years on the streets of Brooklyn, Snickers is a true survivor who is shockingly friendly considering her hard life. She is VERY sweet, quick to purr, and mellow. So sweet in fact, that after feeding her for a while we were able to get her to the vet with no scratching – not even a hiss! She actually purred in the exam room, and the vet said she might've sensed that we were trying to help her.
The average homeless cat doesn't usually live past two years, but Snickers somehow endured frigid temperatures, sporadic food, and predators to outlive her friends in a group of cats on the street she used to call home.
She's missing quite a few teeth, and has deformed tear ducts below her eyes, but other than that she's in miraculously good shape – tested negative for FIV/FeLV, spayed and fully vaccinated.
Snickers is available for fostering OR adoption. To meet her, contact Belinda at [email protected]
Thank you for thinking of a rescue cat in need of a loving home!
