Yola came to us from the shelter where her time was short. Our vet examined her and guesses her to be 3, maybe 4 years old. She needs to be in a home with experienced owners, preferably German Shepherd or other large, dominant dog experience. She needs someone that provides leadership, otherwise she will take charge and become overprotective. She is anxious to learn and catches on quickly, which is quite common with dogs like her. Yola becomes attached quickly when someone works with her. Right now, she's looking for a home with no other dogs, however, that could change in time.Could you be the right home for Yola? She will reward you with unmatched loyalty for years to come!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
