Negroni the Dog needs a home
To know Negroni is to love Negroni. We rescued this adorably sweet and shy Boxer mix from the jaws of a kill shelter in San Bernardino. Shortly after his arrival, we discovered that he had distemper. He was placed on quarantine and watched carefully over the next several months as he recovered. Though he emerged with a clean bill of health, the virus left him with a small tic as is common among canine distemper survivors. With time, this tic will typically diminish. Despite a difficult start, Negroni is still as sweet, gentle, and loving as the day we met him. Negroni is currently enjoying the life of a foster dog with none other than our own director. He is totally housebroken, loves going on pack walks, and getting puppuccinos at the local Starbucks. Negroni is absolutely perfect with all other animals. His foster pack includes dogs big and small, and he is also fantastic with cats as well. Negroni is about 2 years old as of early 2018, and he tips the scales at roughly 50 pounds. He sometimes likes to play his shy-guy card when meeting new people, but volunteers know that Negroni has a chill and fun-loving side to him when in a familiar setting. Negroni is an obedient, playful, good-natured, inquisitive, and kind-hearted soul. At home, he likes to engage his foster siblings in play, and at TBL, you will most likely find him snoozing away on a comfortable surface or another. He has a short and low-maintenance coat, which is ideal for those who are looking for an easy dog in the grooming department. He also has the softest head we have ever had the pleasure of petting.
