American Staffordshire Terrier Dog

Diamond the Dog needs a home

DIAMOND is a friendly 3 year old pit mix who loves people. DIAMOND is fine near other dogs, but not good when she meets them. We assume she would not do well with cats and would do best as an only pet. We put DIAMOND in foster and she was fantastic! She quickly adjusted and settled to the home. Completely house broken, no issues in the house or in the crate overnight. During walks, she interacted well with a number of people, well behaved, no jumping up, enjoyed the attention. DIAMOND takes treats gently, no snatching or unintended nipping. She pulled on leash at first, but it diminished over the two days. DIAMOND actually had been pulling on her harness, but the pulling decreased and she appeared to walk better when she was just on a regular collar. DIAMOND is looking for guidance, she makes strong eye contact and on walks she noticeably "checks in" by circling back on the end of the leash to initiate contact. Please come visit the animals at EASEL Animal Rescue League, behind the Ewing Municipal Building at 4 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing. Adoption hours are every day from 12-3.

As of 11/21/2024 Diamond is still available for adoption. Please use the owner information below to confirm that Diamond is still available or to adopt. Don't forget to check the other animal shelters near me there are many other pets needing a fur-ever home.
