12/22/2017 - UPDATE -
Hi everyone. Thank you to everyone who donated for my care and Chloe's too. I am feeling MUCH better. I am putting on weight - 5 pounds so far! My heart is better than orginally thought. I do need to have an ablation for my one ear. It is in bad shape. I am so ready to find a new, loving home with people who will care and feed me. I am now a growing boy. Can you help?
MY ORIGINAL INTAKE INFORMATION:
Hi, my name is Miles. I was turned into a shelter, and I am now being helped by CSAC. I need it. The Docs gave me a look over, and I do need a lot of medical attention. I have a heart murmur. I am having an issue with my muscles in my back legs. I have ear infections. I have been malnourished, and I am anemic. I need to spend time at the Vet hospital to regain my strength. My friend Chloe was turned in with me. We were not taken care of at all, and I hope we experience a Christmas miracle and become healthier and find a new wonderful home who can take care of me and my friend.

Our adoption process starts with an application. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please click the Adopt menu at the top of the screen, read about our process, and click the application link.
The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program. Even if you cannot adopt or foster one of our current adoptable dogs, please consider making a donation. The Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization, and your donations are entirely tax deductible. If you can help, please donate.
