I am Reginald and I am new to rescue. I am about 8 years old and 10 pounds.

I am such a sweet, happy, and mellow boy You can often find me sleeping on my dog bed or snuggling under the bed covers with my favorite hoomans. I enjoy playing with stuffed animals and even a football! Once I warm up, I like to play. Walks are also very fun and sometimes I even bark at you so we can all go outside! I get so excited, sometimes I pull, so maybe you could help me out with that one.

I also really LOVE meal times and treats. I am silly and try to talk while our meals are prepared. You can always find me under foot in the kitchen, hoping for a morsel to drop to the ground. If you don't even see it on the ground, it's highly possible I already snatched it up! 

As much fun as we like to have, we also like to work hard. Right now, I'm learning how to "sit" and how to go to the bathroom outside. I've done great on a schedule and am so close to being fully house broken. Overall, I'm quiet and only bark when I'm alarmed or in my kennel. I'd rather be with you! Or in the kitchen. I love food so much that sometimes I get a little protective of it when someone is eating on the couch. Basically, don't let me on the couch when you are eating and there is no problem. 

As you can tell, I'm a sweet and fun boy and I'm ready for my furever home. Please just have a kitchen ready full of yummy treats! 

Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends.  In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.
