Daisy the Dog needs a home
"My days are shorter than most but my love and appreciation for you will be greater than you will ever know" - Daisy
Daisy is a Fox Terrier mix. She hasn't had the greatest life. She is morbidly obese with fatty (non cancerous) tumors removed from her older body. Her former owner decided to dump her miles from home not once, not twice, but three times before deciding to surrender her. Honestly, we still are not sure why. Daisy is AMAZING. REALLY REALLY AMAZING. She is quiet (has never barked one time in two months she's been with us), she looks at you with soulful, loving, thankful eyes. She is on a diet and has already lost 4 pounds, and just wants a warm place, a soft bed, and some food in her belly. She gets along fantastically with other dogs, ignores cats (and pretty much ignores anything else). She is looking for a nice quiet home to keep someone company and just relax quietly. She doesn't really 'play' she is too mature for those antics, and she doesn't require much except some hygienic attention. You see, Daisy, in her older age, is incontinent. She "leaks" a bit. Never fear, she is on medication but does require some diapers to keep her comfortable. Currently, her foster parents have washable and colorful diapers that she's proud to wear. We call them her 'fancy pants', 'pajamas', and her 'lingerie'.
So, if you are looking for a companion that is trained and quiet, one that listens and loves, and don't mind changing and washing her 'fancy pants', then please consider adopting Daisy. She deserves the very best
