Katana “Kat” is a Manx/Calico female cat, approximately 1.5 years old. She is tri-color (calico) with a little bit of black lipstick and she has no tail! Kat gets along great with her foster sister, even though her foster sister was not so welcoming at first, but it didn’t bother Kat. She is very playful and especially loves to chase the laser light and the feather wand. She will play with her mice or ball by herself or her foster sister but really enjoys when you play with her. She is a barrel of laughs as she plays inside her cat cube/cave toy. She is not afraid of loud noises (vacuum cleaner).
Kat was a “street” girl and so she is still wary of people. She does not like to be held nor is she a lap cat, but once she trusts you she loves to be petted and combed, when it's convenient for her of course. Kat LOVES her food (but is not food aggressive) and is most affectionate at feeding time, rubbing up against you and butting her head on your hand as you put the food down. She is most vocal in the morning. She has worked up the courage to jump up on the bed and let her foster mom know it’s time to get up and feed her. She needs time to trust her human and the surroundings in which she will live in so she needs an adopter that will be patient and that understands cats.
Katana is spayed, FIV/Felv tested negative, microchipped, vaccinated (including rabies), fecal tested and dewormed. She is litter box trained.
