Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)
Gidget the Cat needs a home
Gidget and her sis, Ginger, were living in the back yard of a home in Maywood, where a senior citizen was trying to care for all the stray and feral cats in the neighborhood but eventually there were just too many and she called Catvando for help. They are now in foster care and are ready for adoption. It took a couple of weeks for them to learn to trust their foster mom but now they purr when petted and are good cuddlers.
Gidget is the more confident of the two sisters and races to the door when she hears her foster mom coming to visit. Audacious, extroverted and boisterous, big sis Gidget loves to be picked up and held where she purrs, nuzzles and kisses. She is a high energy little kitty whose favorite game is to chase tossed treats and pounce on them with both feet, also sparkly pom poms and bouncy balls. Because she is a rough and tumbler player we think she would be better with children over ten and she needs a cat who can match her energy, and of course her sister would be the perfectcompanion. And did you happen to notice her buff colors and pretty face? Once the kittens of summer arrive, Gidget and her sis will be passed over for the little ones and this means as the sisters grow, fewer people are interested, while they are ready for their own home right now. Could that be yours?
