Adopt a Doberman Pinscher / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (short coat)
Comet the Dog needs a home
Meet Comet! Comet is a 1-year old, Black with brown and white, Doberman Pincher Cattle Dog Mix. Clearly the Doberman genes are predominant, however his beautifully white speckled feet and long tail show his Cattle Dog side. This boy is a beauty. He’s stunning. He is tall and lean (a little too lean at the moment) and he has a beautiful, shiny coat. You will know everything you need to know about Comet within 5-minutes of meeting him. He has a beautiful disposition. He buries his head in your lap and waits for pets and cuddles. He is a lover this boy! Coment likes to play with toys and other dogs. He also likes to play tug (although sometimes he cheats!)
Comet has some puppy habits he’ll need your help growing out of. He is a friendly pup and loves people but his enthusiasm results in his jumping up on people sometimes. He pulls when walking on a leash. At the moment, Coment does not do well when left alone in a closed kennel. If you plan to kennel him, you will need to help him remember that a kennel can be a safe place. The most important thing to Comet is just being with his people. He may even fancy himself a lap dog if you have a big enough couch.
Comment is house trained. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, comes with a lifetime registration microchip and 30-Day free health insurance policy.
Adopt Comet for $150. If you are interested in meeting Coment, please fill out an online adoption application on the Animal Rescue Friends website.
