FORTRESS is FIV positive. FIV is not transmitted to humans, and is only transmitted to other cats through a penetrating bite or sexual contact. FIV is not a death sentence. Most cats with FIV live long, happy, normal lives. FIV cats can live in a house with non-FIV cats.
