If I must say so myself, I am perfect. I have exquisite house manners. You can take me anywhere and I will make you proud. I love hitting the trails and I also love lying under the kitchen table. I am a lady but I am also a Retriever, so I will make a wonderful companion to someone who is moderately active. I love to swim! I get along well with dogs, and I love cats. I am very healthy but I take two meds related to my age: one is for hypothyroid, and the other is for a leaky bladder. I live in a home for senior dogs and I am considered the adult in the room! 


Adoption fees are $200 unless otherwise stated.  Senior residents of Dot's Old Dogs Home are generally not available for adoption.  100% of adoption fees are put back into the rescue so that another lonely and neglected chained/penned dog or yard-sale dog can be rescued. We are grateful for your interest.



Upon approval, the adoption fee is non-refundable. The fee includes the following: de-worming; grooming (if applicable); heartworm, lymes, ehrlichia and anaplasmosis testing; all vaccinations including rabies; flea and tick treatment, microchipping and spay/neuter.
